Settings

Settings opens from the workspace icon at the foot of the rail: Workspace settings opens the Settings board (/settings), and Your settings opens your profile. It holds the workspace and the account: who is in it, what it is connected to, what it pays for, and how it notifies you. What a draft reads lives on Brand, not here.

The board has six tiles, each opening a tray with one job:

TileWhat it holds
WorkspaceThe workspace's name, handing it over, and deleting it
MembersThe team, invites, requests to join, and who can join from your company's domain
ConnectionsYour CMS and Google Drive and Docs (the one settings page, /settings/connections)
MCPAPI keys for agents
PlanBilling and usage
Motion and soundTheme, motion and sounds

Four more trays open from where you need them: Profile (Your settings in the workspace menu), Notifications (from the notifications list), AI Search Visibility (Settings on the Visibility board; see The engines) and Categories (from a draft's category control).

Workspace

The Workspace name, which only the owner changes. The website lives on Brand › Description. The owner also sees Management, each by a link sent to an email address and valid for fourteen days: Transfer ownership (they become the owner and the only person in it, so you would need their invite to get back in) or Hand to an agency (the agency becomes the owner and pays for it; you and your team keep your access, and you become a manager). And Delete workspace.

An account can be a member of any number of workspaces, each entirely separate: its own voice, drafts, connections, AI visibility, team and plan. Switch between them from the workspace icon at the foot of the rail (W). An account owns one workspace of its own; running several brands or clients is Viewfield for Agencies.

Members and roles

Three roles: owner, manager, contributor. The owner created the workspace, or received it by transfer; ownership is not a role you assign.

Invite from Members: an email, a role (manager or contributor), Invite. The invite link works only for the invited address and is valid for 7 days; resend or revoke a pending invite any time. Removing a member takes effect at once and revokes their MCP keys for the workspace.

Company domain decides who can join from your work email domain: Who can join is anyone at your domain automatically, anyone at your domain on request (the requests appear under Requests to join), or nobody (invite only), with the role they join as. Only the owner changes it.

Seats count the owner; how many a plan has is on Plans.

Connections

Connections (/settings/connections) lists every CMS Viewfield can connect to, and Google Drive and Docs for the editor's two Google export rows. Connecting is a manager's: a credential is checked against your site before anything is stored, stored encrypted, and never shown again. Each connection lists the pages Viewfield can reach and the destinations where a draft can be sent, says when its pages were last read, and has Refresh pages and Disconnect. Disconnect asks first, deletes the sign-in and keeps the destinations for when you connect the same site again, unless you choose to delete them too. See Publishing.

MCP

"Keys that let Claude, Cursor or any MCP client work in this workspace." The tray shows the endpoint and Create a key. Any member creates keys for their own use; managers see and revoke every key in the workspace. A key acts as the person who made it, with their role, and is shown once. See Authentication.

Plan

Billing shows the plan, the days left on a trial, the renewal date and the add-ons; the owner's presses are Adjust plan and Manage billing & cancel (the Stripe portal, for the card, invoices and cancellation), and everyone else reads "Billing is managed by the workspace owner." Usage shows where the workspace's AI allowance stands this period, and who on the team used it; on Starter or Pro it also holds the owner's overage switch and the monthly spend cap (one setting for the whole workspace; see Overage). See Plans and pricing.

Motion and sound

  • Theme: Light (the default) or Dark, saved to your account for every device.
  • Motion, on this device: System (the default: Calm when your device asks for reduced motion, Full otherwise), Full (buttons squash and spring back, toasts drop in, small things wobble once), Calm (presses and changes without squash, bounce or idle motion; fades stay) or Off (nothing animates). There are no pause buttons on the scenes: this is the control.
  • Sounds, on this device: off by default; on, a soft click when you press and a plop when something lands.

Profile and time zone

Your Display name and Email, your Timezone (taken from your browser on your first visit and never changed over a choice you made; dates and the weekly AI visibility email follow it), Your data (Download my data (JSON)), and deleting your account.

Notifications and email

What notifies you, in the app and by email: Content assigned to me, I'm mentioned, A draft stops generating and A connection needs me. The workspace icon on the rail shows a mint dot while anything is unread, and its menu lists the newest three with All notifications for the rest.

Three mailing lists you can leave one at a time: Tips & tricks, Product news (which carries the weekly AI visibility email, sent to the owner) and Marketing emails. The unsubscribe link in a mail stops that list only; transactional mail (sign-in links, invites) always arrives.

Categories

Categories tag drafts for filing: a name and a color. Set on a draft from the editor's header, and managed over MCP (list_categories, create_category, update_category, delete_category, set_content_categories).
